Affiliate Program

You receive a commission of 15% of the gross price of each sale in USD, up to $100 per transaction.

For instance:

• A sale of 75 credits ($49) earns you $7.35.
• A monthly subscription for the 200 credits / month plan ($39) earns you $5.85 each month.
• A yearly subscription for the 200 credits / month plan ($421.20) earns you $63.18 each year.

Every payment made by a user who signed up through your affiliate link counts as a sale.

That includes:

• One-off purchases
• Initial subscription payments
• Monthly/yearly subscription renewals
• Payments made by subscription plan changes

But excludes:

• Any purchase with a coupon or discount applied

Yes, as long as customers stay subscribed you receive commissions for subscription renewal payments too.

Just make sure that you refer at least one new paying customer per year to keep your affiliate account active.

When someone signs up for free using your affiliate link, their account is assigned to your affiliate code and any future purchases they make are linked to you.

If someone already has an account that was not created via your affiliate link, purchases can not be assigned to you. It is not possible to change the affiliate assignment of an existing account.

When a customer cancels their subscription you stop receiving commissions. When they resubscribe later, you start receiving commissions again.

Just make sure that you refer at least one new paying customer per year to keep your affiliate account active.

Depending on where customers are located purchases can be made in different currencies. For your commission however, all orders are calculated as if they were made in the respective USD price of the purchased product.

For instance: On Twitter a "#sponsored" or "#ad" hashtag can indicate sponsorship with just a few characters. On other social media (Facebook, Instagram, blog posts, etc.) disclosure is required as well (see suggestions by the FTC). In Youtube videos or other video content, disclosure must be made clear in the video itself (either spoken or in writing on the screen, presented long enough to be noticed, read and understood).

You are not allowed to promote your affiliate link:

• in third-party ad networks
• in affiliate networks
• in PPC advertisements
• on websites about coupons, discounts or deals
• on toolbar-fueled websites
• on gambling or gaming websites
• with false promises
• by promising forwarding of commissions to customers ("cashback")
• in unsolicited messages without consent and legal basis (Spam)
• by violating applicable law or the Affiliate Program Agreement

If you are in doubt about what methods are permitted, contact us in advance as violations can result in the cancellation of your affiliate account.

Payouts are processed twice per month as long as your account balance is above the minimum payout threshold (25$).

When you receive a commission for a sale, it shows up in your affiliate account immediately as "pending". After 45 days the purchase is confirmed and your account balance is updated with the final commission.

Affiliate payouts are made through PayPal only. All payments are made in USD.

No, you don't have to issue an invoice.

If you require an invoice for your bookkeeping, we can send you one though - just let us know.

Our affiliate cookies are valid for 30 days, meaning that if a visitor clicks your affiliate link and signs up using the same device/browser within 30 days their account is linked to you and you receive a commission for each payment made for that account (no matter when that purchase is made).

When someone already has an account on remove.bg, or they signed up through a different affiliate link, or a different device, they are not linked to your affiliate account. It is not possible to retroactively assign users to accounts. This policy was made to keep the remove.bg affiliate program as fair, reliable and transparent as possible.

When a visitor clicks multiple affiliate links before creating an account, the last affiliate link wins. That means, that the affiliate that was closest to the actual registration gets the reward.
